Anna's dream

Anna smiles
on her stretcher.

Revolving blue lights
illuminate her wrinkled face.
Frozen by amazement and curiosity,
they watch her leaving
in the morning fog.

From the hall
incredulous voices
resonate along the spiral staircase,
follow a corridor and violate
her intimacy.

Empty boxes, gutted capsules
litter the ground.
Near the bed lays a photo of
her deceased love,
on her rocking chair, a letter.

In her coffin
Anna has a good laugh.

Suicide
Do we have the right to refuse suicide to people dying or who have no ore hope of relief? (severe depression or untreatable pain/illness, degenerative diseases, etc.)

Written for a collective exhibition on the theme of dreams

Thanks a lot to ^neurotype *jamberry-song `Amberlouie and `zebrazebrazebra for the critiques and advises

Catherine this is really well done. I have read this over several times and I have one suggestion, in the line "she decided to join", try reading it as "whom she decided to join". For me that really seals it, but it is of course just my opinion, either way this is a great bit of work.
